The Aging Room Rare Collection is the latest project from cigar heavy weights Rafael Nodal of Tabacalera USA and AJ Fernandez. This Nicaraguan puro blend features a rare, Cuban-seed hybrid wrapper grown by Fernandez on his La Lilia farm in Estelí, Nicaragua. To ensure the quality of this unique combination, an oily wrapper leaf encases a core comprised of deeply aged tobaccos with some “Pelo D’ Oro” included in the mix - a tobacco renowned for its distinct flavor and strength but notoriously hard to cultivate. Expect rich and smooth flavors of earth, cedar, leathery notes, dark roast coffee and baking spices as you puff away at this medium-to-full bodied treat. Remarkably limited due to the rarity of the tobaccos used, production is done in small batches.
