Aganorsa Leaf’s cigar portfolio is built on more than two decades of work in Nicaragua’s richest growing regions. When Eduardo Fernández founded the company in the late 1990s, the goal wasn’t just to grow tobacco—it was to recreate the classic, full-flavored Cuban style with Nicaraguan character. Over time, the company’s early releases under the Casa Fernández name helped introduce cigar smokers to the unique flavor of Aganorsa’s Corojo ’99 and Criollo ’98 tobaccos. As those blends gained recognition, Aganorsa expanded from supplying leaf to major manufacturers into developing a full lineup of premium cigars that showcased their own identity. As the brand matured, signature lines like JFR, Guardian of the Farm, and Aganorsa Leaf Signature Selection marked major milestones. JFR became known for delivering dense Nicaraguan flavor at a value, while Guardian of the Farm—created in collaboration with Kyle Gellis—helped push Aganorsa into the modern boutique spotlight. The later introduction of the Supreme Leaf series brought widespread attention thanks to its bold profile and limited availability, often selling out quickly. Meanwhile, the Aniversario line evolved into one of the company’s top-tier offerings, reflecting refined blending and older, carefully aged tobaccos. As the company grew, it unified its identity by rebranding Casa Fernández cigars under the Aganorsa Leaf name. This shift made the product lineup clearer for consumers and tied the cigars directly to the farming operation that made them possible. Today, Aganorsa Leaf’s portfolio continues to expand with small-batch releases, special edition Aniversario blends, and annual production of enthusiast favorites. Through it all, the cigars remain centered on the same philosophy: highlight the character of Aganorsa-grown tobacco and produce handmade cigars with unmistakable Nicaraguan depth and Cuban inspiration.
