unveiled a novel line-up in the Esteban Carreras selection. The
Esteban Carreras Cashmere Cigar sports an Ecuadorian Connecticut
shade wrapper enveloping an all Nicaraguan core delivering medium
to full bodied smoke. A host of rich notes including cedar, leather

typically found on Connecticut seed wrappers. If you appreciate the

vigor, the Cashmere is worth checking out.
In 2012, Esteban Carreras cigars introduced the "Esteban Carreras
Chupacabra," named after the infamous creature from Central
American folklore that has frightened children for generations.
However, for adults, this name represents a superb medium to
full-bodied cigar made entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco. These
cigars are available in a choice of either dark brown Habano
Oscuro or darker Maduro wrapper. They are rolled with a closed
foot and a pigtail head, and packaged in 20 or 10 count boxes.
The blend starts off slowly but gradually increases in flavor and
strength, offering hints of wood, spice, coffee, chocolate and
robust pepper on the finish. Despite its chilling name, the
Esteban Carreras Chupacabra is an excellent smoke at an
affordable price point that is not to be missed.
Luciano Meirelles and ACE Prime Cigars have crafted the Fiat Lux in
Nicaragua at Tabacalera Pichardo, well-known for producing Crowned
Heads cigars. The Latin phrase appears in the Bible and translates
to 'Let there be light,' but Luciano suggests that it symbolizes
'enlightenment' when one experiences the complexity of flavours and
introspection during a smoke. Although serious, Fiat Lux offers an
enjoyable experience. The dark, high-priming ACE Prime wrapper
ensures a rewarding draw throughout.
