On the drive back to Cavalier Genève's factory in Honduras, Sébastien Decoppet, Eylin Decoppet and Brian Motola found the inspiration for Tres Delincuentes when a song of the same name came on the radio. Recognizing its potential as soon as it finished playing, they immediately laughed and began plotting out the idea together. The lines were designed to be a representation of them all individually - influenced by art and music. Each cigar features the same tobaccos but vary according to their wrappers. The Connecticut line has an Ecuador Connecticut wrapper, Habano has a leaf of Cuban-seed tobacco grown in Honduras, and Maduro contains Mexican San Andrés as it bears an artistic take on Sébastien. The binder is Ecuador Habano with filler from Nicaragua, Dominican Republic and Honduras.
