The renowned E.P. Carillo, known for his boutique cigars, has been producing the annual Short Run since 2010, with a brief pause from 2017 to 2020. After its return in 2021, he has continued to create new blends each year, including this year's release which holds a special significance. Collaborating with Carillo is bus driver turned cigar industry powerhouse Oscar Valladares, resulting in the unique Short Run 2023. This one-of-a-kind blend is crafted in Oscar's Honduran factory using an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Honduran binder and a mix of Nicaraguan and Honduran fillers, some of which were sourced from Copan. Delivering just over medium-bodied flavors of baking spice, saltiness, nuts and earthiness, the Short Run 2023 is truly exceptional.
