Menelik by Foundation Cigar Co. was first introduced as an event exclusive cigar. With a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, Nicaraguan Corojo ’99 binder grown in Jalapa, and all-Nicaraguan fillers from each of the country’s three primary growing regions - Estelí, Condega, and Jalapa - finished with a pigtail cap, this limited production release has been given the name Menelik which translates to "Son of the Wise Man", honoring King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba’s son. This cigar truly embodies Foundation's mission of conceptual depth with its ties to The Wise Man (El Güegüense), King Solomon's Biblical Tabernacle (The Tabernacle), and four years' worth of lore.
