Nearly a century after the initial Montecristo cigar was crafted in 1935, the Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua cigars represent an unprecedented interpretation of its original blend. The Grupo de Maestros, A.J Fernandez and Rafael Nodal with Tabacalera USA's Head of Product Capability have achieved such an ambitious task thanks to their blending talents. Getting Nicaraguan tobaccos that echo the classic properties, construction and balanced flavours of the Cuban original Montecristo from 1935 was a daring challenge. Produced at Sa in A.J Fernandez's factory, this new version symbolised a milestone in the illustrious history of Montecristo cigars.
