Montecristo Espada Quillon has landed. Making a debut as
Montecristo's first Nicaraguan puro, the cigar is crafted from
Cuban-seed Habano leaves from Jalapa for both its wrapper and
binder and is filled with a combination of tobaccos from Jalapa,
Ometepe, and Condega. The Quillon draws its name from the Espada
Ropera—an extravagant sword intended for civilian use rather than
warfare—and mirrors this luxurious character in its intense
spiciness and ornate three dimensional band.
