Subsequently, there was a 2017 overhaul when Murcielago introduced a new look and extra-aged tobaccos thanks to a partnership with AJ Fernandez who now rolls them at his renowned San Lotano factory in Ocotál, Nicaragua. The blend is still as flavorful as ever – Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper around Nicaraguan tobaccos – boasting notes of chocolate, espresso, sweet raisin, black pepper, maple syrup and oak.
