Murcielago by Espinosa Cigars

The Murcielago cigar by Espinosa Cigar Co. originally debuted in 2009 as one of the first full-bodied Nicaraguan style cigars featuring a dark, rich Mexican San Andrés wrapper. Initially produced at the renowned My Father Cigars factory, they were later revamped in 2015 and relocated to Espinosa's growing La Zona factory in Estelí. By 2017, Murcielago had entered its third iteration, boasting a vibrant new appearance and incorporating extra-aged tobaccos. Thanks to a new partnership between Espinosa and AJ Fernandez, these cigars are now rolled at AJ's acclaimed San Lotano factory in Ocotál, Nicaragua. The blend remains consistent with a core of Nicaraguan tobaccos and a Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper, but now features aged tobaccos for a deeper and more complex flavor profile.
