E. P. Carrillo Short Run 2023 Cigars

E.P. Carillo, the godfather of boutique cigars, has been creating the Short Run yearly since 2010, with the exception of a brief break from 2017 to 2020. This year, he brought them back and has continued to develop new blends. However, this year's release is unlike any other before it. Collaborating with Carillo is Oscar Valladares, who went from being a bus driver to a major player in the cigar industry. Together, they have crafted the unique Short Run 2023 at Oscar's factory in Honduras. Using an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Honduran binder and fillers from Nicaragua and Honduras (including some sourced specifically from Copan), this blend marks a one-of-a-kind partnership. A touch over medium-bodied, the Short Run 2023 boasts flavors of baking spice, saltiness, various nuts, and a hint of earth. As these cigars won't be available forever and next year's blend will be different yet again, be sure to get your hands on them while you can!
